Tips and Q & A:

Can I use flour instead of cornstarch to coat the chicken?

Yes! You can use either cornstarch or all-purpose flour to coat the chicken. It helps the lemon garlic butter sauce adhere to the chicken.

What can I serve this Honey Lemon Garlic Chicken with?

You can serve this on top of rice, with creamy mashed potatoes, with smashed potatoes, easy oven-roasted potatoes, or served with vegetables like green beans with almonds and lemon zest.

Storage:

This honey lemon garlic chicken can be stored in an air-tight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. To reheat it, I suggest heating it in a skillet.

This recipe is so easy and SUPER Yummy! After I cook my rice, I add it into the chicken and sauce. I also added broccoli and pineapple. Sauce covers everything nicely. Best dish I’ve found in a while for quick easy weekday meal!

Absolutely delicious! I couldn’t wait for the rice to finish cooking before I was eating the chicken!!

Absolutely love this recipe! It was easy to make and absolutely delicious. I used boneless chicken thighs because I like the way they cook up, (but know it would have been just as delicious using boneless chicken breasts). I did cut the pieces into bite sized which made it so easy to eat over rice. (I actually used a soup spoon to eat it, so I could get chicken, rice and sauce in every bite.). Even though I usually never change recipes around, I made some additions which were really yummy. When my chicken was about 1/2 way done, I added a good handful of slivered almonds and browned them with the chicken – this just added a bit of crunchiness. Then when it was time to add the liquid ingredients , I added maybe only a 1/2 teaspoon of sweet red chili sauce (I don’t like things very spicy). It just gave it a tiny bit of zip. I suppose you could add more or less for a hotter or more mild sauce according to your preferences. I will pass this recipe on… Thank you! ๐Ÿฅฐโค๏ธ
