Whenever I come from vacation or a particularly bad eating night, I reach for a healthy juice to cleanse my body and give my digestive system a break.
I am sharing 4 of our favorite juicing recipes with an assortment of fruits and vegetables for variety.ย Since my oldest daughter is a “health freak” we make these homemade juices every week and store them in jars in the refrigerator to make them easily accessible. It saves SO much money juicing at home!

Ingredients
Drink Your Greens:
- 2 cups Baby Spinach Leaves (or 4-6 leaves of kale)
- 6 Celery
- 2 large Cucumber
- 1/2 Lemon
- 2 medium Apples
- 1-2 inch Ginger
- 1/4 – 1/2 cup Parsley Leaves
The Detoxifier:
- 2-3 med-lg Beets
- 6 Carrots
- 2 medium Apples
- 1/2 Lemon
- 1-2 inch Ginger
The Vision:
- 8 large Carrots
- 2-3 Navel Oranges
- 1-2 inch Ginger
- 1 inch Turmeric (optional)
Sweet Carrot:
- 10 large Carrots
- 2 medium Apples
- 1/4 cup Parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Wash, prep, and chop produce.
- Add produce to juicer one at a time.
- Serve cold over ice. May store in tightly sealed jars or glasses in the refrigerator for 7-10 days. Shake or stir well before drinking.

Does that mean each recipe serves 4? Like if I made the green juice, would that be 4 servings? I’m trying to do a 7 day juice cleanse and just wanted to know if I bought all of the ingredients listed above, would that last me 3 meals a day for 7 days? Or would it only be enough for 4 meals? I just made the detox – granted output will vary by machine and size of ingredients but for me it made about 44+ oz.
So is this one juice or is it 4? I’m talking about just the green juice.

When you do juice cleaning is Juice the only thing you drink through out the day?
Juice every 2 1/2 to 3 hours and water in between to hydrate.
I added spinach to the detoxifier and it was delicious!
The only thing I can say is, THANK YOU. Reading through your story I finally felt like I wasn’t imagining things. I have hypothyroidism (past 25 years – treated with Synthroid) but in the past year or two I’ve noticed I’ve been reacting more and more to refined sugars, dairy…I thought I was just all of a sudden intolerant. And I have also unexplained weight gain although I work out, hike, swim, wake board, ski and rock climb (at 51). I’ve started making many changes but your site has been a light at the end of the tunnel. Going to follow you on Instagram now!
